I don't post much, but I wanted to post a good story about gun rights for once. Since all this anti-gun stuff all over the media, I have been more outspoken than usual about gun rights and why they're important. I got into a conversation about this with my boss. In my workplace's policy manual, it specifically says that nobody can carry a firearm while in the building.

After about 20 minutes of talking with my boss about it, he agreed to allow those of us (2) with a HCP to carry as long as it's completely concealed. I still need to get him to amend the policy manual so I can carry without violating the current manual though.

I consider that a victory. :pleased:

Congrats on Teaching you Boss!!!

My  Boss has the policy. "As long as I have a HCP I can carry anywhere it is allowed"

I have to go on Base in Clarksville, I leave it at the office, same for the Airport.

When I go to schools to work, I leave it in the van, out of site and van is locked.

Good for you and good for him.

Nice victory.   Maybe you can go the next step and convince him to get his permit.  That way he is not likely to change his mind at some point down the road.

That's good to hear. Keep it up!
