They could just hide it under the counter behind the locked door. It isn't like anyone really looks in those cabinets anyway.

so this counts as ammo porn nowadays right?

Decades from now historians will (just by looking at the picture) be able to place this image as being from the Pre-Obama America timeframe.

No carbon-14 date testing needed .  :ugh:

I don't understand where he could hide it? To my knowledge not all Walmart stores do not have gun rooms...

My store doesn't sell guns, so the ammo goes to the assist managers office until sporting goods associate/manager arrives to place on sales floor in the morning.

Not a secure enough location and not enough space for some of the shipment sizes I've been seeing lately. Besides, there are things that have to be kept in the cabinets for day to day operations.

Ive seen stacks of at least 12 boxes of ammo under the cabinet at my local Walmart. I know for a fact there is room under there to hide it.

I'm not going to waste time looking for a while. I'm not a morning person and I have to be at work at 0800 so there is no chance I'm ever going to be the lucky SOB that scores at 0700 when they stock the shelves.

Hopefully things will calm down soon.

I'm right there with ya. I just happened to be in Walmart today and stopped by the sporting good section with zero expectations of finding anything.

I don't have to be at work till 10, but I still don't want to get up early to go stand in line and listen to someone who is only there to buy and post on Armslist tell me lies about how they are happy to get a couple of boxes. I mean really, you can't tell who is there to get a box to shoot from the schemers. I miss the occasional swapping of shooting or hunting stories at the ammo counters. Now its big fibs or cussing for lack of inventory.

Glad to hear you had a little luck. I like you will swing by the ammo display now if I'm in there anyway and hope for the best expecting the worst. Hope its over soon

Wasn't much luck for me. The calibers they had in stock I don't use so I left them for the next guy.
