My New Toy

I bought this today from Bass Pro for 139.00 , It is a Remington 597 .22lr and i must say that it is a sturdy gun. I have yet to shoot it but i cant wait.

I sold my .380 to buy this after seeing a couple people with .22lr's at the range on the 21st. I also purchased a box of ammo for 16.90 , thats 500 rounds , much cheaper than my 380 to shoot. My carry weapon is now a Taurus Mill 45.

Would you belive I came home started it up & the damn thing it working with no problems at all. For now I guess. That from what I hear is a fine rifle, but I probably still would have gone with the 10/22 they have endless possibilities. I know you will enjoy it very well.
