Hello one and all,

Been around firearms most of my life but never carried. Just got the HCP a month ago along with a new Taurus PT111Pro.

Could have gotten a PT145, but decided to stay with the 9mm ammo-cheaper and matches other guns I own. Yes, not the same stopping power... but, if I can't get it done with 13 rounds... it's not gonna get done. Right? :ugh:

Lookin to get in a Super-Tuck in early July (it's on order)... and we'll see how comfy it really is. <grin>

Been lurking for a few weeks. Thanks already for all the great info! Am glad to see people respecting the awesome responsibility that comes with being armed.

Thanks for the welcome(s). Been really enjoying the "what if" questions. Makes one think ahead of time about what you're going to do... and not do.

Like my instructor said in our HCP class... "you're morally and financially responsable for every round that leaves your gun." Kinda makes you think twice about sending lead down range.
