Accessories for Lee press

Hello,

I have the Lee entry-level press.  If buying a second shell plate, would you buy an entire additional case feeder assembly to go with it?

Edit:  Do they not make primer swaging dies for progressive presses?

Thanks.

I have no idear what to tell you, as I just use single stage and a turret, my turret is a 3 hole, I have to trun it by hand.

I am not good enough yet to trust a progressive.

I'm a Lee loader. I don't know what an entry level press is. What's the Lee part number?

Sorry, yes my bad indeed.  It's the Pro 1000.  By entry level press, I meant "budget-wise".  I'm not on the level of the guys with those big fancy Dillons :-)

If you go to leeprecision.com, on the left side click "parts" keep looking and clicking away till you get to the 1000 model you have. On page 2, the 6th and 7th row down are the case feed parts. There are 2 case slide sizes and 4 cylinder plates sizes. I didn't see any tubes. Looks like that's all you would have to change out. I'll check tomorrow with a friend that has a loadmaster. I'll give you an answer in the next couple of days.

Well he's a niteowl.

The metal part of the case slide assembly stays in place. What are you loading now? 9mm and down in size will take the small case slide. 38 and up will take the large. 9mm and down will take the small cylinder. 38 and up will take the large cylinder. Special note: 40 sw will take the large cylinder and the small slide. Tubes are the same. You tube has some special adjustments.
