I don't think Fiend-stein's bill will call on doctors to handle the gun registry part.

That's one of sticking it to the people who say they have to read something after it passes to know what's in it. Kinda a nice slap across the face.

I've seen similar reports about this. I honestly don't see it holding much water though.

 

"According to reports, that amendment says the government cannot use doctors to collect "any information relating to the lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition."

 

Seems to me all they have to do is make the ownership or possession unlawful and this provision will be null and void.

 

Also as was said above, they won't be using doctors to collect this info.

That won't be possible. The Supreme Court has already ruled on gun ownership being an individual right.

Any one that says something like that has no ethics.

 

Any of our Reps that claim they didn't know something was in a bill before they signed or voted for it should be removed from office as well.  We can't have over paid slackers that are not representing their people.
