Got a new barrel for my 870

I have been looking for an 18" barrel for my 870 for a while I found one on the classifieds here so I figured I should post a picture.

I'm working on one of these now and would be interested in your specs. mag size etc.

Ya its a wilson combat +2 mag extension, a scattergun technologies side saddle, speed feed III stock and forend, the barrel has been cut down it measures 18 3/8". I want to go with an xs big dot sight, maybe a 1 point sling, and some kind of light/ mount, then I believe i will be done with it.

I like it. I am using this to mount a light on my 870.

 

Admittedly, I have not shot it since installing it but it's very sturdy. I'm happy with it.

6+1 capacity, the side saddle has a metal plate that bolts to the gun and the shell carrier is plastic and had 6 bolts that hold it on

A little story on my purchase of this gun. I had a youth model 20ga 870 I sold to a friend for 100 bucks. I went to a gunshow the following weekend and picked up this gun, for 150, but it looked a lot different than it does now. It was completely stock with a 26 in barrel, and the whole gun had a pine needle camo job. So I disassembled it and took paint stripper to the metal parts and then prepped it and painted green, added the new stock and forend, mag extension, side saddle, and big head safety, but still had the 26 inch barrel. It remained that way for a couple years till just recently when I found the barrel.
