Any Colt Python owners in Eastern TN?

Hey guys, I'm working on a Colt Python-related project for a major shooting blog (that will be anonymous until the post goes live). For a part of the post, I'd like to include some quality photos and video of a Python in action, preferably a 6" model. Buying a Python is, no surprise, a bit outside of our budget right now, so we were wondering if any Python owners in our area might be willing to meet us at their range so we can get a few photos.

You would not be in any of the images unless you want to be, and we would provide as much or as little credit as you'd like. If you have your own blog or website, we'd be happy to link it in the post. We'll also throw in a couple of boxes of ammo for your trouble. We're in Knoxville, but would be willing to travel a bit to get to where you are. Send me a PM if you're interested. Thanks!
Chris

I'm not in E.TN, but before I or anyone would probably agree to this, I am guessing they will want to know the angle of the story.  I would not allow my gun to be used in a story that was anti-gun in any way, meaning I would want the right to review the story before final agreement of using my images.  I don't need to help the anti's propogate more ignorance.

You may be a fine person with good intentions, but with this being your first post, people aren't going to jump to help you.  You may want to give more info on what you are trying to do.

Yeah, that's a good point. I would be happy to share more details about the post with anyone who's interested. I don't want to say too much publicly until the post is live, but it will definitely be 100% pro-gun. Most of the post will be an in-depth look at the history and technical specs of the Python as well as talking about its practical applications. If we can get access to a Python to shoot, I'll also talk about its handling characteristics and other subjective observations.

One of the goals of our blog is to introduce new shooters or non-shooters to topics that more seasoned enthusiasts may already know about, and we're looking at this as a chance to give a comprehensive overview of one of the best revolvers ever made. Hope that clears things up a little!

The best revolver in my opinion :) They dont call it the Rolex of Revolvers for nothing.  I also own an Anaconda and while it is pretty darn nice, the Python is about impossible to beat.  :2cents:

I couldn't afford a Python when they were "affordable" in the late 80s, so ended up with the poor-boy, a King Cobra.

Timthetoolman is spot on, the Python action is simply amazing.
