I've "googled" him extensively since I'm considering taking a tactical pistol class at his Nacogdoches, TX training facility. The feedback is almost universally positive. I liked his handgun shooting standards and I'm currently using them for timed training.

He led the first assault team in to the first downed blackhawk in Mogadishu.  He was also responsible for getting the information to Mark Bowden who wrote Blackhawn Down.  He took some heat for doing that.  In the movie he was portrayed by William Finchtner as Sgt. Sanderson.

I read it and generally agree with it. If that seems at odds with the majority of my posts here as of late it really isn't. Even though I view the odds of success by the gun grabbing commies pretty slim, I still think it is vitally important that we let them know how high the stakes are in this game they are playing.
