Rabbit Hunting

Deer season is over now, so it's time to get a little Rabbit hunting done.

 

Here is "Roddy" doing what he does best. Roddy is 10 years old and this is his first time out since being shot by an illegal deer hunter 3 years ago. My little partner has not lost heart at all! GO RODDY!

The other three dogs will get out Wednesday. And, as always, if anyone wants to get out, let me know!

Come on up and hunt anytime you want. There was another fellow from Columbia who used to come up here every Saturday and hunt with me. He was training a pup with my dogs. I lost contact with him about two years ago. It is what it is of course! Anytime you want to go.....

I wish you were in East TN cause. I haven't been able to rabbit hunt since moving from MS and dearly miss it. Heck I would like to just hear some dogs running one.

I love my Remington 870 Wingmaster 12 gauge, but every now and then I like my little H&R 20 single! I only hit about 1 in 3 now a days anyways! To me it's all about the comraderie and the dogs singing!
