Cleaning a 32

My Wife has a Beretta Tomcat 32 and I have been trying to find a brush for the bore, looked in Dicks, Sportsman's warehouse, Bass Pro as well as a couple of smaller shops, nothing!

Any suggestions, is one even made for a 32?

You should be able to use any .30 caliber brush. .32 ACP bullet is .309". Use the nylon verses the metal.

I had a tomcat and I found a .32 brush. I can't remember where though. Usually gun shops will have more sizes than the big stores. If you were closer to Memphis, I would find it and give it to you. I think it cost like 2 dollars.

With gas as high as it is, I would just buy it online along with a couple other items you need to justify the shipping.

Thank you I have seen .30 brushes so that's what I will do.

Use a .38 cal copper brush,as an old gunsmith pointed out to me years ago always

go next size larger for any gun.

Use Shooter's Choice Bore Cleaner or Butch's Bore Shine and never use a brush again.

1. Soak patch with SCBC or BBS and run it down the bore.

2. Wait 5-15min (depending on how fouled it is).

3. Blow it out with non-chlor brake cleaner.

4. Patch with lube down the bore.

5. Dry patch down the bore and it will come out white.

I clean all my handgun/rifle bores this way.

BBS works slightly better than SCBC, but I choose SCBC because it is ammonia free (for my chrome-lined bores...ammonia is not good for chrome lining).

nice! thanks Todd!!

the only 2 things that will ruin a barrel? shooting the firearm and cleaning the firearm.
