I'll have to take a look at those.  I have literally scoured the earth trying to find a Ultra+ and can't find zip.   Held the Ultra and it's a nice feeling firearm, but i'd like to feel how the gun shoots with the bigger grip.  I called Kimber this morning and sat on the line for 30min.  Finally gave in and hung up.

I have a Kimber Ultra Carry.  For concealed carry the grip length is ideal and fits my size 10 1/2 hand just fine.  The pistol balances nicely with the 3 inch barrel.  If you want/need a full size grip, I would recommend a commander length barrel as opposed to a 3 inch barrel.  The extra barrel length isn't going hinder concealment, the full size grip already does that for you. The 4 1/4 inch barrel will enhance accuracy.

My Kimber is my primary carry gun in .45ACP.  It has been 100% reliable for the past 15 years. I also own, and shoot regularly, a DW VBOB and a DW Guardian in 9 mm.  They conceal carry fine under a jacket, but not as well under an un-tucked shirt.  Needless to say, I shoot more accurately with the commander length barrels on the Dan Wesson's.

Thanks for the info.  I just figured that the larger grip would provide a little more control.  Sounds like it doesnt do much besides make it harder to concel-
