Does anybody here know about this place? From what I understand you can hunt hogs here until a certain time? Any info would be good. I might try to go tomorrow if it's open for hunting. I have WMA stamp, so am I ready to go?

Can I still hunt hogs on WMAs?
The take of wild hogs is allowed on some WMAs in conjunction with other scheduled hunts in Regions III and IV.  Please check the most recent hunting guide for dates and special regulations. Note: The TWRC has approved an amendment to the WMA proclamation to authorize the taking of wild hogs, in conjunction with deer seasons, at three additional WMAs in Region 3. The WMAs are Alpine Mountain, Skinner Mountain, and Standing Stone State Forest.

Hog Hunting is closed on Catoosa.

They added a Jan 7-16 hog hunt (w/dogs) for next week on Catoosa (& Skinner MTN  ETA is Jan 18-20)

I think (but not sure) the permits are already sold out by walk-ins to the office (presumedly in Crossville)

Dad asked me if I wanted to go, but I won't be anywheres near it. Will be too many people & dogs. If they want the hog problem fixed, then they need to fix it, not slap a band-aid on it.

FINALLY found it.  Page 54 in reg guide.

You can call in the morning and ask the Region 3 office if permits are still available (or even required).
