I ordered 10K of the CCI .22 lr from sgammo.com after the "in stock" alert this weekend. Looks like it already out of stock again. Heck, .223 is getting too expensive to shoot.

With all this talk of .22lr, does anyone know how many loose rounds of .22lr fit into a 30 cal ammo can?

I've got 3150 in them and there isn't much extra space.

For those needing 22LR ...

sgammo.com has 5000 round bricks priced at $249

I've shot the eley, and have had zero issues :)

Hope this helps guys :)

Oh boy did it ever!  I just shot up the last of my .22 today, and now I have 5k more on the way - better ammo than I can get at Wally for 1/2 the price.  Great deal and thanks for sharing.

Most match grade Eley is supersonic and will be more accurate than Mini Mags. Mini Mags are 1235 fps.

That being said, I shoot Blazer and Mini Mag's 90% of the time. I just shoot the Eley or Wolf (Lapua) when I'm trying for best grouping.

Eley's website lists a 40gr. lrn round called the "sport" that does 1085 fps at the muzzle.  The packaging is a different color, but it appears to be pretty much the same thing sgammo is selling.

Well you can carry a lot of it. you can hunt with it... and also this is a shock to some but you can defend yourself with it... also it makes for a good barter item in a SHFT situation

Cuz you can put a can on a .22 and all you will basically hear is the hammer falling. Quiet and they are cheap to shoot.
