New to Shotguns - simple mods and ammo selection?

Glad my thread could help some more newcomers to shotguns. In my short time owning one, I've learned that what seems like a pretty simple weapon system is actually a little more complicated and can confuse some newbies like myself, but once you start figuring it out things start falling in place. Now to just find a way to mount that light...

 

Welcome to firearms enthusiasm!  There's so much arcane and trivial knowledge involved in any class of arms you wish to gain knowledge of that you can spend the rest of your life learning while you shoot.  Personally, I find that one of the more attractive features of gun ownership.  Obviously there are the utilitarian uses of guns which everyone is aware of, but the continuous learning is a big plus to me.  You can be as engaged as you want or need to be, and it will never end.  There's always something more to learn.

Yeah, I had the same experience when I bought my first gun two years ago when I turned 21. Dove into the pistol world and now I have a very slippery hold on what's going on in there its exciting to dive into this new domain of shotguns. Always learning is something I'm very willing to do and something i enjoy.
