I paid $23 a box and I bought all they had...I guess thats why no one has any in stock because of a-holes like me...Guy there said they are expecting more this coming week. Walmart.com showed they were the only ones with stock and I got there and there were none on the shelfs. I asked the guy about them and he said "all sold out!" I said can you check the back? he said "None back there" I found a mgr that didn't mind checking and they had a whole case back there.  just check online it will tell you who has what in stock. If the employee says all sold out call bs and have them go to the back. hope this helps some.

nice. I scored a 420 round ammo can of 5.56 on strippers. They had two but I felt bad knowing how hard I have been searching so I just got the one.

 

it was at a different location but still had to do some proding for it to be found.

For what ever its worth, I typically purchase about that amount when I get ammo. It will most likely be shot up by this time next week and I'll start the hunt again.

I guess the "employee" didn't hide it very well. Chances are most of the high priced 223 on Gun Broker and Guns America is being bought up by employees and sold at twice the price. Thats why the ammo cases are always empty, the ammo never makes it out of the back room.

after seeing your post i just picked up 6 boxes.  I have some training to do once GunRunner finishes my upper/lower.
