Any cool/'unofficial' places to shoot

Wondering if there are any of around TN. Wilderness/open shooting, or something like that. Something besides the usual lane/shared boredom. Had a few in TX, even one where you could shoot toilets/junk, wondered if TN had the same.

Those days are pretty much in the past. Too much liability, too many hippies hatin guns, too many fools who destroy everything they get near. People sue each other for farting in the same room. I remember when I was a wee lad, a couple of places. You could shoot rats at the dump with a 22. No more. It's sad and a shame, but I can't say I blame them. I will be in the market for a plot of dirt soon, one I can shoot on myself and I doubt I will let anyone shoot on it. Hate it, but it's what it is.
