The fact that he sees 'gun violence' as a problem is all you really need to know.  He is a liberal.  I have yet to find one liberal who can answer the question of why 'gun violence' is worse than 'knife, baseball bat, or tire iron violence'.  Isn't the real problem just violent crime?  And if you want to address the problem of violent crime, then you will quickly see that gun control offers no solutions.

When Newtown first happened on the news, I imagine that at least 2 million carry permit holders had the thought that if they had been there, they may have been able to stop the killer.  Of course, the next thought would have been to remember that it's illegal to carry on school grounds.  How ironic.  There are at least ten million carry permit holders, and we will never know if one of them MIGHT have stopped a school shooting because they are prohibited by law from even trying.

As long as we allow these leftists to keep personal defense against bad guys as the central issue,  the public won't see the greater danger of what the Second Amendment is all about.  Why did everyone go out and empty the shelves of gun stores after this last election?  Is it because they thought they were in imminent danger of being robbed or their home invaded?  No.  The simple reason is that people who are concerned about the future of the country know that the political process has been hijacked by totalitarian forces bent on stealing the ownership of our republic from the people to whom it belongs.  Let's stop this endless bog of perpetual discussion about a person's right to defend himself.  Even most people who don't own firearms recognize that necessity.  The freedom of our whole nation is at peril here and it is this danger that should concern gun owners the most, just as it did our founding fathers in their day.

lot of good points but he is absolutely a pro ban liberal.  He stands there and says that an AR ban would do nothing but to do it anyway --- in the same freaking sentence!!    Truly a fence sitter, he invalidates himself in his ramblings.   At least he is thinking about it critically.... maybe he will come around.

That liberal is living in Utopia. He uses too many key words to be anything else. There appears to be a rash of

these type of blogs and other propaganda designed to keep the pressure up on gun control. I'm just going to

quit reading these. They are all saying the same thing.

If you remember both sides trying to beat the other side to the punch by using the "talking points" phrase, which

was something the political class does daily, this is just an extension of that. It is a propaganda campaign. By

continued viewing of these pages, we are just making them feel empowered to continue it.

Liberals have too many sitting around willing to publish this crap.
