Glock's big news
.   My idea of a jack-of-all-trades is a company that offers firearms, lightbulbs, knives, and boxed spaghetti.  Just an opinion.
All your points are great but this sentence is especially interesting. Gaston was making knives, curtain rods and door hinges when he decided to manufacture guns. I wouldn't even call him a master of manufacturing guns. Through clever marketing, timing and surrounding himself with other clever people, he hit it big with Glock Firearms... This of course plays to your original comment. I'd like to see what Glock could do with a carbine. Unfortunately, it wouldn't be as serendipitous as the G17 since Glock now has much more experience with firearms, where Gaston's knowledge prior to the G17 was limited.

LOL...  I had no idea he did that.  I was just trying to make a point.  Glock history is not something I have ever looked into.

Is it the Glock ID community thing? I cannot be sure. I am personally hoping it is a carbine. I'd be interested in one as well. Edited by CZ9MM
