Looks and feels comfortable in my hand, for 949.99 i am sold! 

 

anyone have experienced one of this?

I am heading to MC Shooting complex (edited: i will be going to nashville for some ammo purchase) Sunday at 01:00PM to test my new baby! who is with me? a little meet and greet, anyone?

I was eyeballing a R1 Enhanced recently at a local shop.  They're nice!  The only thing I'd be tempted to do to one of them would be to replace the thumb safety with an ambidextrous version, install a set of flat-bottom VZ Operator grips and add a magazine well.  With those things done, it'd be about perfect for a working 1911.
