Not sure, I ripped the labels off and stuck them to my forehead.

:confused::biglol::2cents:

I thought I was the only one that did that!

Crawford makes the Klan look like Chivas.

I recommend lots of ice in them drinks

You know, you add ice and ginger ale and really it doesn't matter one bit. Especially after the first few.

Is there any step down from Crawford? I want to crawl on my hands and knees through the detritus of bad scotch.

Is there any step down

I am sure if you apply yourself you can find something cheaper and on a lower shelf. Well maybe not a lower shelf. it is possible to find something cheaper maybe.

But being a successful business man, you ought to reward youself and step up to a better class of Scotch. Just a buck or three can really improve things.

Man it got thirsty out last night.

Started with Old Bardstown and water on the rocks and after quite a few of those I switched it up to some Westerhall Rum with a splash of diet Pepsi for color.

My head feels like I was run over by a truck. Thank God I quit smoking. If I went through a pack or two of butts last night I may have actually died this morning.

Who said anything about being successful?

How was the Old Bardstown?

Asti and Strawberries. 1st year anniversary last night.

I used to put that in the bottom of a bong years ago along with a Ice Cube. Made the smoke taste so sweet. Those days are long gone now though. Congrats on the anniversary.

The 80 proof seemed like a mediocre bourbon. No character really, not bad mind you but nothing to get worked up over. I am guessing it meets minimum requirements to be bourbon. Now the 86 proof is a bit better. Aside from more alcohol it has more body. It is not as hot as the 80 proof seemed. I would rate it a little better tasting than Beam white label

I don't know for sure what it retails for. I am guessing it will be 10 bucks or so for a .750. Maybe 12 bucks for the 86 proof.

There is also a 101 proof version. I have not been able to sample that yet. I think it is a little higher on the food chain that its lower proof brothers. At any rate it comes in a nicer looking bottle and label

Which company is introducing this? Why would anyone put another low market bourbon out there?

It just seems like the field is already saturated with Heaven Hill, Very Old Barton (my favorite, esp in the 1/2 gal size), etc.

Of course the upscale market is pretty saturated too.

I wanna know why keg beer give me a terrible hangover? I was at a friends house last night for a 10th Anniversery party and they had 3 kegs, food cattered in and a DJ. So we had a flippin good time. It was hot out, so we kept drinkin to cool ourslfs off. Well lets just say we got smaaaashed. Why do I feel like total horse crap today? Why is it only keg beer?

I see I'm more than twice your age. It isn't so impressive from this perspective.

I do hate it when people knock me for being young.

So i wont make jokes about who's going to die first of old age.

Old Bardstown Distilling Co. As for why, there is a whole pie out there. Everyone wants a slice. A small slice is more profitable than no slice at all. I think this product has great potential. I also guess it will be available in Nashville too.

Very Old Barton (my favorite, esp in the 1/2 gal size)

I believe this is better tasting than your VOB from what I remember of VOB.

OK. It costs money to introduce and market something like that. I hope profit margins are huge.

Old Bardstown Company sounds like a made up name. I hope it is Brown Forman because I am a stockholder in the company.

Actually one of my customers works for them.

It isn't youth, it's just you gain a perspective being older.

My grandmother was born in 1892, my father in 1923. Guess which one died first.

Either a real martini (none of that vodka crap) or Clynelish 14 year old single malt scotch.

Tonight I'm having Buffalo Trace but tomorrow might be a Bookers night. Mike have you ever tried Noah's Mill bourbon?
