Biotch! And all I could drum up was cookies and cream ice cream milkshake. I need a drink.

Or... and I'm just putting this out there... it's for medicinal purposes.   :)

I'll take that in the vein in which it's intended and thank you; on one hand the last time I had a snort of snakebite medicine, I couldn't find a snake to bite to save my soul - on the other hand I hand an older brother who self-medicated himself into an early grave, so I can't really justify it either way. (Oh, and the BCBS co-pay is astro-freakin'-nomical!)

I applaud you on your integrity sir.  Instead of taking the easy way out you have chosen to be socially and financially responsible to your obligations.

If I didn't live 1/3 the way across the state, I'd purchase you a whatever you wanted tonight.    :hat:

And I'd thank you politely and respectfully decline. Guess I'm wired kinda' strange, but if I couldn't return the favor, I'd have a tough time accepting it in the first place. Someday though...

:hat:

When Mom was a kid back in the 1930's she got snake-bit and they loaded her up with snakebite medicine. She was always a complete non-drinker, and joked that the snake bite was the only thing that kept the booze from killing her. :)

Yep, never fails. When my wife sends me to the wine store, me and and a black man searching the store both looking for mascato

Moscato is very popular with woman.  It is sweet and as a by product of sweetness it is lower in alcohol.   Moscato has become the fastest growing varietal label in Knoxville.  At the store I am at the California labels are near the desert wine and Italian Moscato's are in the sparkling aisle.  Italian labels are the big movers and are a very good dollar value.

On the subject of mixing with sodas, try Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey and Ginger Ale sometime.  It tastes like a cream soda.

Tanqueray and tonic. And old favorite.

Never had it with tonic, but used to drink it a lot with grapefruit juice in a glass with a salted rim.

Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout.   If you've never tried it... you're missing out.

Indeed! I tried this at a place that serves it called the Ale House here, I got it just because it was a Smauel Smiths and by god it did NOT dissapoint. Have you ever had a Wells Banana Nut Bread? It's fregin AWESOME!!!

And now I have a reason to stop by the liquor store on the way home...

Sold my car tonight and celebrating with a couple of glasses of CR.  I  usually drink whiskey in cooler weather and beer in warmer weather.  That is until I do something really stupid drinking whiskey, don't drink for a few weeks, and then start back on beer.

Weller 12 year old is back in the market.   Guess they aged some up in a hurry.   It has come back way sooner than anticipated.

And if you like Stout beer you need to look for this and give it a try.  Far and away the best Pumpkin beer in the market right now.

Imperial Pumpkin Smash from Crown Valley Brewing.  It comes in a 12 oz bottle full of 10.6 % of that stuff we all like
We retail it for 2.55/btl.  It really is amazing.  Not often I say that about beer.

Drinking some Schlafly pumpkin ale. Good stuff. Pumpkin beer that tastes like pumpkin. Unlike that god awful New Belgium Pumpkick which tasted like fricken cranberries.

I checked with my local store. It appears we live in the wrong part of Tennessee. It can be purchased in Knoxville, Memphis, Chattanooga, but not in Nashville. WTF is up with that?
