I want to get a gun off of Gallery of guns but not really sure how that works. I would like to do what is best for the local guy but I have called around and the answers seem to vary . That is mainly because everyone I talkd to tells me to call back next week when the guy that does the ordering is in. I can't seem to find a good anwer even when I called Gallery of Guns, I was told to contact a local dealer. Have anyone gotten a gun off of there, if so what is the best route to go, aand how did it work out. This would be my fisrt ever purchase of a gun from a website.

Find a local FFL/Gunshop willing to have the firearm transferred in.  Buy the firearm off Gallery, Gunbroker, etc after doing a bit of checking on the sellers history.  Pay for gun to seller, get information on where your local shop is to fax or email their FFL to and then provide that information.  Firearm will be shipped to your FFL, you will pay for transfer and back ground check locally and take possession of firearm.

I tried to place the order through Gallery of Guns wbsite and it told me order has to be places by an FFL.

Never had a problem , pick a dealer from their list and pay the third down or whatever it is and then contact the dealer and let them know it is coming.

I've had the same experience. Bought a few guns off of gallery and never had a problem. I usually just pick the lowest price on their list of local dealers and then go pick it up when it's shipped.

I have used it several times over the years, never had a problem whatsoever, I only wish they did more brands of firearms

Got it figured out, The FFL I am having do it said that the site is showing 2 but it wont let him place it so he called and they said that the gun is nolonger in stock. They have fixed the issue and now it shows none in stock online. I knew it couldn't be this hard. Now I am on the waiting list. Atleast I know I will get it, who know when.

I've bought 2 from GoG, no problem. Use the Gun Genie, choose your gun, get quotes, pick your best deal/closest dealer, enter your personal/payment info.

And my closest local GoG dealer, Mixon's Emporium, also had the best price within 25 miles!
