CCP Application Question

Hey everyone! I know I should probably spend my day searching for someone in the gov who can answer my question, but I'll see if you guys already have the answer to my question:

I took my CCP training class in August and I'm just now getting around to filing the application (I know, I know). I know there's a 6-month expiration on these training certificates, so I'm a little worried. There's a wait of up to 90 days before I get the permit, and I have 2 months left for my certificate to be valid. Is there a risk that if they don't look at my application until March, my application could be rejected due to an out-of-date training certificate? If so, I could be throwing out $115 in application fees.

Thanks!

Not much at all. First, their turnaroumd times have been in the 20-25 day range. Second, I'm pretty sure the 6 month limit is to submit your application, not receive your permit. So get on it.

If you filed for a CCP that may be your problem. There is no such thing. Should have learned that in your class. If you didn't you may want to check all the other info they taught you. That's kind of a big one. ;)
