Burglar messes with the wrong Marine

Well, actually, EVERY Marine is the wrong Marine for a burglar to mess with!

In the official report from the Spokane County Sheriff's Office, [Marine Corporal] Pohle was said to have "escorted [burglar] Schwanke to the ground."

 

and:

 

Having just finished a seven-month combat tour in Afghanistan, Pohle said that his training just kicked in the second he saw the threat in his family's home. "When I took him to the ground, it kinda kicked in … to put him in a headlock and blood choke and I put my knee on his head, everything kicked in," he said.

With the servicemen we have in this country both prior and active, these low life criminals are risking life and limb for what seems to be trivial belongings. It's just a matter of time when we are all reffered to as assuallt weapons ourselves and are banned from using our training to protect ourselves and our property.

Some are already pushing PTSD as grounds for denial of a firearms purchase.
