I'm not even sure that's legal?

 

Isn't there a timeframe required by the ATF that when a FFL takes possession of a firearm, it goes on the books ASAP?  Same day I would think ... 4 Days is certainly excessive

Seems like someone told me once upon a time that it was 24 hours...but I could be mistaken.

Nice stick! Congrat's to DD for the smart way they are handling the current situation.

Jcj, you mentioned hopefully this won't be you last black rifle; do you have one with a mid length gas system yet? I went that route on a 16" barrel with a H weight buffer. It seems less "jumpy" for quicker followups versus my carbine length gassed AR with a standard weight buffer.

That's unacceptable. I'd find a new FFL if I were you. Bill's Outpost checks them in within 10 minutes of them arriving, five minutes if you're standing there staring at them :D

Rifle is ready to be picked up..finally. 7 days not counting Monday when they received it since it was late in the day..

 

Going to head there tomorrow to get it (hopefully)!

Very pleased upon initial inspection. Noticeably lighter than my Spikes Tactical "ST-15" middy.  Even my son can handle it without a struggle. We'll see how it shoots!

Finally picked my DD up today. Order was delayed due to BCG being back ordered. My first impression is that this is an incredibly well made rifle with great attention to detail. Mine is also incredibly light, guessing 6 pounds or so unloaded. Can't wait to shoot it this weekend.

Ordered a v7 from the "build your DDM4" app while everyone was out on New Year's Eve and had it in hand on the 16th. Extremely pleased.
