Trail Cams?

Anybody use trail cams? What brand you use? How do you like it? Thinking of getting one and interested to see what kind of results everyone getting? What are the best ones for the money the pocket books on the thin side but don't want junk. Thanks, Ryan.

How much do you plan to use it or them? Get at least a 2.0 megapixel with IR and flash. I got my two a couple of seasons ago and they were under 200 bucks then, probably under a 100 for the basics now. Get them before the rush in September though. Look for deals at Cabelas online. I use the Moultrie game cams and they do really well. Uses a 9 volt lantern style battery which they make in rechargable. Also make sure you get one with an SD card port. I throw my laptop in my back pack and down load pics right there at the camera so I don't have to do much movement to it at all. You can spend up to 500 or 600 on the whiz bangs but these do all you need to see activity in your hunting areas.

This one also imprints the date/time, temp and moon phase on the pictures.

Yeah, i've never used one, but a buddy of mine that hunts has one. Its pretty cool...I'm looking at ordering something here pretty soon. I think its a worthwhile investment.

Stealthcam 4.0 here and so far so good. We have one by a food plot and one by the gate to our property to monitor the trespassers as well.
