PPS Lettering

This is big in the Glock world - coloring in the lettering on the slide and barrel.

I had some touch up paint for my car (desert sand), so I decided to color in the "Walther" and "PPS" on the slide. I don't understand why they left these untouched.

My paint is not as flat as the gold on the other side of the gun, but I think it turned out pretty well.

nice job. ive thought about buying one of these guns but dont know if i could get used to mag release.

It's going to take some getting used to.  And it is VERY tight right now.  It should loosen up with time.

So how do you do it?  I see the nail polish remover there, I think.  Please explain!

It is VERY easy.

Paint it, being sure the paint (or nail polish) gets in the letter grooves.  Allow to dry (this paint dried in about a minute or two).  Then wipe with paper towel wet with fingernail polish remover - NON ACETONE.  It doesn't take much remover, just a quick tip of the bottle with the paper towel at the opening.

When you wipe the excess off, be sure the paper towel is as flat as possible, so it only cuts through the surface paint and not in the letters.
