So I decided to settle down, make the everlasting commitment.........To M&P that is :)

I like the idea of common parts, caliber, controls, and I just really love my M&P's. There is another full size and a .22 that should be here any day now to join the family.

Now if the right deal comes along I'm sure I'll stray but I think they'll understand.

I do love the M&Ps.  Will love them even more if I can find a dang Shield!!!

Next to Glocks, those are my favorite polymer 9's.

My position exactly. I started out with the 9c, found a FS, and acquired the Shield last week. Made an offer on a FS in 45 at the last Hendersonville gs, but the "private seller" and I were just too far apart.

I've rented tables at shows and sold/traded a few of my guns, but this guy has been to every H'ville, Murfreesboro, and a few out of the area shows I've been to as well. Always has lots of newer guns, both pistols and rifles, as well as a lot of miscelleanous tac stuff.

I ran out of stuff I wanted to move after 3 shows.

Everlasting commitment my butt... I remember a few short weeks ago of someone hounding me to death about a Sig X-Five, then talked me out of two Sig 239s and the X-Five.  Now no X-Five or 239s.  All I see are run of the mill S&W plastic guns.  Fickle.... What's next?  FN, HK, Taurus?

It looks like they're going for as much as an AR15. If you happen to have an extra one around it looks like you can sell it and use the cash for an MSAR.

I've been trying to find a shield for a while. None of my LGS would even take a deposit. Just said to keep calling/trying as they are allocated and not sure when they would get them. I did find a .40 at a LGS in Nashville and was quoted $599 plus tax and background. I only wanted a 9mm. Finally lucked out on Bud's. Ordered and received two days later.

Merry Christmas indeed.
