Gun ban list leaked

The Dems are going to do their best to divide gun owners. They will do their best to make the hunters feel safe. It's up to us to hang together, and make sure it's known that they are the enemy of all gun owners.

Well so far I get to keep my Garand and my 700 VLS in 308. Every other gun I have other than my Panther is (IMO) way down on the list of powerful guns. But then again, neither of them are black.

I would much rather face a shooter with an AK than a shooter with a scoped Remington 700.   The only “Military” weapon Charles Whitman had was an M1 Carbine, but I would bet his scoped Remington 700 “hunting rifle” did much more damage than the M1. Hunters that don't really think this will affect them need to know that this is dramatically different than 1994. All guns are at risk with this posted from my phone

I have a 700 as well. It's already tagged for a new barrel and a B&C stock. It will be getting a FFP scope with HORUS reticle too. I may just sell an AR to fast track it. Of course, a scope feature may put it on the NFA list as well.

Did I mention Hitler?

Every bill has to have associated costs listed. Putting them on the NFA list would require a whole new bureaucracy with a big price tag. I don’t think in these economic times that will fly.
Did I mention Hitler?
Yes you did. But we killed him remember?
Well, actually he killed himself, but you get the idea.

I think it's time to start using their style tactics ourselves against them. Pro-gun writters should start throwing bolt action and lever action rifles onto the list whether that is what is proposed or not. It would be bad for our blood pressure to read it, but we NEED to get the "bolt-action hunters" that don't care about AWB fired up. Would that be dishonest? No, I don't think so because those will be next!

I disagree, alot of (hunters) in my family say they agree with people not having "assault weapons". They have stated, why does anybody need something like that.

Of course there is a cost that probably WON'T be funded, especially if they have to deal with a lot of non-compliance. You can count on that. These Libtards aren't gonna go full Nazi on the general population. It will ruin their BS image.

Love how they only name "scary" guns but conveniently don't mention popular civilian guns like the ruger 10/22 which accepts a mag larger than 10 rnds. I guess my browning 1919 is ok then? Lol Bastages

Come on guys! As so many on these forums have previously stated many times in the past...as recently as 7-14 days ago no less..."it can NEVER happen"... "tinfoil !"... Doesn't seem so "tinfoil" now, does it. That cold, wet rag of reality really seems to have awakened a lot of folks. I guess better late than never.

I've got four words for the hunters in your family.

Sniper Rifle
Assault Shotgun

Yes, it’s still tinfoil. I was being factious.

Is Dianne Feinstein going to take my guns away? No, and you would need a tinfoil hat screwed on pretty tight to think she would be allowed to run amuck and do it. I have some faith left in our elected officials.

Could I be wrong, sure; but I don’t think I am.

If I am wrong I will be the first to acknowledge your vision and apologize for ever questioning you.

Stupid Feinstein and Pelosi and that damned bunch! Don't they have a floor to sweep or some something that needs cleaning?

All they would have to do is leave the building and it would be cleaned.

I will not comply. It's been suggested and I'm in for it, let's get some stickers shirts, whatever with an AR on them and simple words.....I will not comply.

If we were dealing with honest folks, I would share your assessment. I don't THINK they can pass it. It's OVER if they do. It will take some serious balls to overturn it.

I tend to err (and prepare) on the side of caution. You on the other hand have much more faith in things turning out alright than I do. What can I say. Better to have to have expected it and been wrong than to have trusted and been burned and caught unprepared. As they say, hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. I have faith in (regular) people, just not anyone involved in politics. Can't trust 'em.

If they get this, the Second Amendment is history. It's all about eliminating ALL weapons. So much for that law abiding thing, eh?

I for one would be making some PVC purchases at Home Depot or Lowes if the ban becomes law.

I would agree with that assessment. If someone like Feinstein can get a bill passed that requires registration or results in confiscation and those laws are upheld by the SCOTUS; our form of government has failed. But until that happens I refuse to run around yelling the sky is falling. We have a system of government with checks and balances; they President can’t do anything he wants. Let’s see if it works.

Other than write letters, send emails, and try to get others to do the same; there really isn’t anything we can do until the next election.

Better pick up some silica gel while you're at it :). You know what they say... "If it's time to bury your guns in the back yard, it's probably time to dig them up."

You just brought a tear to my eye :).

Write letters, piss and moan on the Internet, get others involved... what you think I've been doin' all day, Willis? :)

I obviously have more faith in our government than many here. But it’s what we have to work with. I’m surfing the forum as I am cleaning guns and putting away the ammo I didn’t shoot during my trip to Illinois, and wondering how you think I am going to be caught unprepared.

biggrin.gif I'm tempted to post a picture; but I won't.
