July 2008 middle TN meet and shoot -- Saturday the 19th

I was a member there for years until I bought my farm. Now I can shoot pretty much when I want to. Out of consideration for the neighbors I usually let them know ahead of time.

I would enjoy getting back over to OHGC and meeting all of you. I know it is highly possible I may have met some of you elsewhere.

Right now the 19th is good for me.What about membership? I let mine lapse.Can I go as a TGO guest?

I don't think there is an exact round count rule for short bursts. I think management would like to keep it to 3-5 rounds. The main thing is safety. They want rapid fire to be controlled. All rounds must pass thru the target and into the berm. There are homes nearby and the management doesn't want them to have any surprises.

Here is the offical word from the OHGC meeting last week that I can share. The 3-5 round burst rule is in effect as we have had a few problems with auto fire being used with poor judgement. The rest of what is mentioned in the post above is exactly right.

5$ for non-members as a guest of a member. (there's usually at least one member with us) and it usually starts at 11:30.

I'm starting to get excited about getting together again! Trying to decide what to bring this time.

I think we're meeting at the Burger King in Spring Hill first, you'll certainly be able to follow somebody from there.
