"Today, Dec. 27, 2012, it has come to our attention that Facebook is purging accounts that show a leaning toward pro-gun rights, meaning the Second Amendment of the U. S. Constitution; as well as anything to do with pro-liberty information."

I'm glad I never bought into the Facebook fad.  The twit thing is even more ridiculous.  I don't care how many friends you have and I don't have any interest in what you had for lunch.  I might join something called "Gunbook".  Naw, TGO is all I need.

All the "pro-2A pages/groups, etc on Facebook I belong to are just fine (I checked when I first heard of this story) but more to the point, Facebook can do whatever its owners/management wants to do. I don't like it but they still have the right to do it if this is actually happening at all.

Whatever pages may or may not be shutdown by Facebook; I suspect there is more going on than those pages simply being "pro-2A".

A very beautiful and intelligent LADY (not girl or woman, but lady ) once said she didn't know what a Facebook was, but now that she does, "What a huge waste of time."

I felt pretty much the same way but now that I've been on it for a couple of years, I've found it to be an excellent way to find and keep in touch with people I lost contact with over the years including high school friends, Navy shipmates, extended family, etc...it's also great for providing info for the various car clubs I belong to.

All it all, I think Facebook is a good tool.

That guy that claims his FB was "purged" has a bunch of FB pages under different names, but they have almost identical content. If his account was banned, it was over an administrative reason not for 2a issues.

Looks like another one of those dumb tin foil hat stories used as a publicity stunt.
