Trying to decide what components for 5.56/.223

Hi guys,

I want to start loading 5.56/.223.  I want to accomodate .223 chambers, and short to long barrels, with 1/7 or slower twist.  .

Are Wolf Small Rifle primers as reliable and supposed to last as long as CCI #400?  I read them as being interchangeable?

Is WC844 a good general purpose powder with Wolf Small Rifle for .223 and Large Rifle for .308?

Now I just need to find some pulled 55 or 62 grain bullets!

Thanks!

The Wolf/Tula SR & LR primers are fine, but for 5.56 Nato & magnum case cartridges (.222 Rem Mag, .204 Ruger, similar cases), I normally try to get the SRM or SRM .223 primers (as the cups are slightly harder for higher pressure rounds)

On powders, here is what OEM uses - http://www.gd-ots.com/2011%20Brochures/BALL%20POWDER%20Propellants.pdf

As for 5.56 projectile pulls, David Mosely always has them at gunshows under the big "RELOADING" sign.

David is a good guy to deal with. If you don't catch him at a show, call him.

I have a couple of friends that won't deal anywhere else.

I feel this as good a time to enter this, so let it be.

By the way, if these measures don't pass as you wish. Feel free to drop off some unwanted, live animals as close as you can get to your reps homes. If they don't vote as you wish. The more the merrier I say. I have some moles, lots of tree rats and a few deer that I don't need.
