New member in Clarksville

New member, just moved to Clarksville from Tucson, AZ.  I'm a reloader for .223, 9, 40 and .380.  Starting building my first AR before I left AZ.  Looking for a good place to shoot but haven't found one yet. When I'm not shooting I like watching football, hiking and running.

Welcome to TGO! If you are looking for an indoor range check out the shell shop in Hopkinsville. They have a small two lane indoor range, pistols only. Also look into Montgomery County Shooting Complex (MCSC) and Golden Pond range in LBL for outdoor ranges.

Welcome to TGO, check out montgomery county shooting complex.  Also i see your tag says military if you have MWR priveledges (retired, reserve, active, dependant) you can check out the personally owned weapons range on FT Campbell.

I like the Shell Shop in Hopkinsville (good folks) for handgun indoors and MCSC for everything else and outdoor pistol.

Thanks for the replies.  I am military, but prefer to shoot off base.  The indoor range in Hopkinsville sounds interesting.  I looked, but couldn't find a website.  Does anyone know how much it costs, and if there's a problem with only having two lanes.  I really thought an area like this would have more places to shoot.  MCSC and Golden Pond are both a ways away.

Not sure about the web site but to join is $20 per year and $10 per hour and they sell targets.

Range goes to 25 yards and is a pulley system (electric).

I have spent many happy hours there! :wave:
