Just swapped the S&W 64, 4" for a Taurus 605. I had a couple holster left over from another Taurus snub that I had and got a thrid in trade so I've got 3 options on carry mode, IWB, Belt or Paddle. Don't think I'll ever shoot 357 in it but it's nice to have the option if I want it. The little revolver tucks nicely under a shirt in the paddle holster and would probably all be disapear with the IWB holster I've got. Now maybe I can actually use my CCW for more then I.D. when I buy beer at Wal-Mart,LOL. Oh well, just wanted to share the good news.

Right now you can go onto the Taurus web site and look at the pick of a 605 and that'd be it, it's bone stock. I really do want a set of smaller wood grips for it though. The larger rubber "boot" grips just don't fit my hand very well.

I took it out and put a few rounds thru it. At about 4 yrds the factory 150gr LRN was point of aim and cut a group off hand in SA mode at about 3/4". A cylinder full of my handloads with home cast bullets went a bit lower and were at about 1.5", not too bad for home cast bullets. I think I'm going to be VERY happy with this little 5 shooter.
