Brownells gray .223 mags?

How do Brownells' gray 30-rd AR-15 mags with CS springs differ from USGI mags?  I didn't see anything in particular on their site that told.  Are they the same thing, just not issued to the armed forces?

Thanks!

They are Good-To-Go.  :up:

From the Brownells' website;

".....mil-spec stainless steel spring or our new, high lubricity, dry-lube-coated chrome silicon spring that’s corrosion-resistant certified to 500 hour salt spray standards, and less prone to spring set.......”

I have the mags with either the SS or CS springs and can't tell any difference in function.

Run them in all of my ARs to include the ones I use in 3Gun matches.  I do replace the follower (green or tan) with the MAGPUL follower.

In thousands upon thousands of rounds - - - Never, Ever a jam or misfeed.

I trust them enough to give them to my police officer son for his patrol rifle.
