Why is he smiling

People that are in shock sometimes behave differently. His doctor may have also given him some antidepressants to get him through.

I would bet money on it, this all a shame, lives lost, lives ruined, I have shead more than a few tears over this.

All because of a nut case stole a firearm and did a very bad thing!

I don't know, but I'll bet he's the nut job and she tried to get the kids away from him. I don't even know why he was interviewed.

He is an ex. He shouldn't have been allowed in front of a camera.

But like everything else, there is more to the story we'll never know.

Now, I haven't watched the video, but I have to ask, what makes the separation of a husband and a wife cause either of them to be any less of parents? Sure, sometimes one parent of the other vanishes, but not always.

I just find that to be a very ignorant statement.

Again, that is said before watching the video, so if there is something in the video that makes it obvious he was a nutjob, I am sorry.

His changing facial expressions quickly from a laugh to a kind of a frown for the camera, almost a giveaway to me.

I am not making a blanket statement about all damned divorces, either. Just a personal observation. They were

divorced and I wonder about a lot of variables like whether or not he even had any custody.

His appearance, to me, was a bit off. If he was on antidepressants, maybe that explains it. Everyone else is dead,

so it really doesn't matter. Sorry about my ignorance. :D

I have read on another forum about this footage. There is a link to a video on youtube put out by the  "tin foil hat" crowd that this is a tip off to the whole thing being faked by the CIA and Obama as a way to push the gun control issue. At least that was what I got out of it as the jist of what they were inferring before I turned it off out of disgust. There are a lot more crazier people out there than just Adam Lanza.

Even with Obama in control of the executive branch, the CIA isn't going to do something like that to get guns

out of our hands. Their mission is quite different. I wouldn't necessarily call that tinfoil, but idle minds that are

on drugs, or something worse.

If anyone was going  to set something up like that, my attention would be focused more on a George Soros type

enemy, with David Axelrod directing it, but that is worth the time it took to type it.

A little too conspiratorial for me.

Unless  any of you have lost a child , you do not know how  you would react.Ppeople have different coping mechanisms...when we lost our niece it was horrible and the mother was given meds to try to cope with the loss..And they where pretty hefty  and left her so out of it , she doesnt remember half of it.

Its pretty ignorant to think that one person is not grieving the way someone else think they should....

It's also pretty ignorant to get in front of a camera for the Nightly News to make you look stupid. We have gotten

too adjusted to this society by camera. I know if one of my children had died in that atrocity, I would have stayed

as far away from some "Bubble headed bleach blonde" with a cameraman waiting to exploit me.

That's the impression his actions in front of a camera gave me. I wish I had never seen the video. Some people

seem to live by this stuff. It is hideous that you would ever consider letting some camera take advantage of your

woes. I would be too upset to be paraded in front of someone's damned camera.

Days of Our Lives 24/7/365 whether real or not, it's on the news, and you are the star for someone else. Don Henley

wrote a fantastic song. Sad some didn't pay attention to the lyrics.

Then there are those who just adore Honey BooBoo.
