Petition to deport Piers Morgan

Jeremy Clarkson from "Top Gear" posted this on his Facebook page this week:  "Americans. It took us 40 years to get rid of Piers Morgan. Pleasse don't send him back."

 

Apparently the feeling is pretty mutual over in the UK.

Yep, new petition started by UK citizens on the WH site asking us to keep him. LOL! Jeremy Clarkson also posted this on twitter. “Americans. Was the second amendment not introduced to protect your from the tyranny of the British? Piers Morgan in other words.” :lol:

The measuring of how many people watch a show is still beyond me in most cases.

Example I have direct TV, My box is not connected to a phone line and they say these dishes do not broadcast so how can they tell what show I am watching?
Shows over the airwaves? no way that I know of to measure how many tune in.

I know it used to be measured by viewer feedback, almost like polls. Get a small sample and do math to estimate a total.

However in his case I never watch it.

 

They depended on statistical calculations from companies like Nielsen (we had one of their boxes in Knoxville). But now with digital boxes, they have access to everything on their own end and this is why you companies like Directv drop channels XYZ, and they may pick up channels ABC, while Comcast drops ABC in the southeast market they know it's popular in the northwest, so they retain the channels. So basically with analog they had to rely on statistics from a third party but now with digital boxes, the service provider knows all.

 

I think this was the reason Nielson was thinking about buying the radio version of themselves called Arbatron or something like that, because they have been taking a hit on the tv side of things and almost all radio stations still operate on analog, so there's a need for their system there.

Keep Piers Morgan in the USA

We want to keep Piers Morgan in the USA.

There are two very good reasons for this. Firstly, the first amendment.

Second and the more important point. No one in the UK wants him back.

Actually there is a third. It will be hilarious to see how loads of angry Americans react.

Boycotts never work, they just give more free advertising to the company.

I guess I need to actually watch CNN a bit to know which sponsors support the network and especially toe jam like Piers. Vote with your dollars. I haven't watched CNN ever and they are apparently healthy, hit em in their sponsors dollars.

He can change the Bible, but he will never change The Word of God. Sounds like he needs to read it more. It is full of people that thought it was flawed. News Flash, Piers.... there IS a Higher Power, and it ain't obama.
