That is the main problem IMHO, we simply don't know yet what (if any) legislation is going to pass or what will happen w/regards to the market.

It could be very, very expensive in the future to own a firearm, whether through taxation, regulation or even the government requiring a large amount of "insurance" in order for someone to own a firearm.

The only concern I would have is would it really be considered used if brought at Walmart and resold?  I have over heard others talk about buying it and it is still new in box but after paper work is done, it is considered used goods.

 

Free Market supply/demand sets the price.  I guess we are used to big stores like Wal Mart not reacting as fast to the market as others. 

 

Plus what is the replacement cost to restock that AR in the future?

I would hope most dealers would do a transfer onto their books to keep the guns "new" status but you never know.
