Does anyone else think it is strange that last night budgunshop site went down to the point you could not search and they are still down?

 

I was doing a good bit of window shopping last night and still unable to search today.

They have mentioned on FB a enormous amount of traffic, and I think they have been under DOS attack as well.

It comes and goes due to traffic.

These places are not under any kind of DoS attack. There has been astronomical amounts o traffic to every gun site on the web this week, I mean Bushnell's selling 3.5 years worth of magazines in 72 hours, and imagine all the people that are just looking, or are trying to buy and got there too late. I would say a reasonable estimate would come out showing they are seeing more than a 1000% increase in traffic, it not 10,000%

The site's not down. It's just running slow because of heavy traffic. They're also sold out of about every item I was looking for. There's not a 15+ round Beretta mag this side of the Mississippi right now. (Unless you're willing to buy them at 3X the normal price... :down: )

Cheaper Than Dirt has suspended firearm sales until they re-evaluate their policies. Does that mean until prices are marked up?

Judging from the stock levels I'm seeing, I screwed up by not buying an AR at the gun show when I had a chance last weekend.

I'd bet money it's heavy traffic instead of DofS attacks.
