Anyone know? I’m supposed to be traveling tomorrow and I’m wondering how serious I should be about this packing.

It's already tomorrow Down Under and we're still here... I haven't felt the Earth move or anything.

But that's Down Under time, not Mayan time!

Not quite sure but if I go anywhere tomorrow I may carry my Glock 22 instead of my usually 27 and the ol' 870 in the trunk ; )

I will have the glock 21 and the Just Right Carbine in .45 acp in the trunk  just in case.

Seems as weird as things have been the nuttcases will be crawling out fro under their rocks tomorrow even if the Mayans were wrong

I heard a funny line on the radio, " If the Mayans didn't see the spanish coming how can they be right about tomorrow?"

They saw the Galatic Alignment coming...which is pretty bad ass because it only happens once every 13000 years.  The Alignment is at 6AM eastern, tomorrow morning.  And they never said the world was going to end.  They just end their calendar on the day of the alignment.

If it happens I suspect 4:30 p.m. eastern as that is when I get off work tomorrow.  (Darn Mayans make me work that last day.)

Well dang!  I was hoping it would happen before I had to get out of bed and go to work!!! :D

Just remember any valuables you no longer need please drop them off at my house. Guns/ammo and other supplies.  I will make sure they are put away before the end.

I've got it penciled in for 1730CST.  I've got too much junk to get done to do any earlier.

Thanks I almost forgot and I still have not figured out what to wear?

My question is: is the 21st the last day of the Mayan calendar? If so, tomorrow is not the day we should be worried about, it's Saturday. That's the first day of nothing.

There is a football game Saturday.  That could cause a conflict.

If by every 13000 years they meant every December, then yes, they'd be right. :p The Earth, Sun, and central band of the Galaxy line up every December. There won't be a precise alignment with the galactic center for about another 4 million years.

Nasa sounds smart to all of us cause we know no better,  but imo humans havent got a clue as to what the universe really is or what its doing on a grand scale.     i just think its beyond our capability to decode.

everything we think we know couldnt be further from the truth.  not sure why we even try to understand.  all we can do is create things we want out of materials we have on earth.
