Saiga Builders check this out!

Recommended Posts

Just finished my second Saiga conversion, this one was a 12g. Tromix just released a DIY trigger guard, so i thought I would give it a try. Let me just say that this thing is awesome! Tear off all the old stuff and this thing screws right in. It has thread post designed into it and the hex head screws attach from the inside. No grinding, painting, fitting, nothing. Just put it on and go. It also has the safety lever stop and pistol grip nut built in. Some Saiga's don't have the grip nut hole already and this makes it very easy. Only place to get them is here. http://www.mississippiautoarms.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_37&products_id=233

Here's the final product with my x39.

I've had the parts for awhile and just got around to working on it. When money comes available I'll probably get some HK sights, Ace folder, and brake from Tromix. Here's where I hope to get it.

Everything is the same except for the mag catch and the hammer. You have to shave down the bottom front of the hammer to get it to work. The mag catch doesn't need any work and there isn't any guard around it, which makes it a little easier than the x39, especially with the Tromix DIY trigger guard.

Tony Rumor makes the coolest stuff. I envy his creativity.

My brother-in-law had him do a Saiga 12 for him with the folding stock and everything. It was awesome.

Have you seen the pictures of his "siamese" M16 on his web site? Ridiculous... but brilliant.

I have the 16" 308 and it is very accurate. Of course it's pretty loud too. :-)
