new walmart policy?

i just called the walmart in Hixson, TN to see if they had any colts or sigs in stock the reply was "we have them in stock but we cant sell them" with no explination. I called academy in Hixson the reply was "the boss man told us not to discuss if we had them in stock or not over the phone you will just have to come in" my reply was i dont want to waste gas or time if they were out, is their a possibilty that you have some in stock? his reply "its somewhere between some and none". wow...
