Plastic guns

Tonight I was listening to the preeminent firearms expert, Rachael maddow, on MSNBC.

She was talking about plastic pistols like Glock that would pass through metal detectors without setting off an alarm?

What does this deranged progressive pervert know that we don't?  Is this abject ignorance or an agenda that she is pushing?

Sadly, there are members of her audience who believe this to be true.

She must have been talking about one of those Glock 7 pistols I hear so much about. Costs more than you make in a month.

I'd imagine one of her "researchers" found that bit of urban legend for her on the web and tossed it in.

edit: nope, it's on right now in repeat, raving about 3-D printers. In her stead, she mentions the actual law which bans non-detectable firearms, passed under Reagan. Of course, she intimates that's the only reason Glocks have metal in them, so yeah, she and her researchers are idiots.
