Silly saiga - ak question number 73

I have read through the boards and I am not sure about it. What exactly is the differance between a regular AK and a saiga? Also why do I need to convert it back to an AK?

Saiga's are produced in Russia and imported in a sporting rifle configuration. Meaning that there is no pistol grip and the stock resembles a hunting rifle. Conversion involves changing the stock, moving the trigger group and adding a pistol grip.

I did not know that. I thought the already took ak mags.

It's all easy. A monkey could do it. I've done it 3 times. There are lots of videos and instructions floating around the web.

It is very easy!  If you are able to get one, I highly recommend it!  But you had better hurry. :)
