it's been a great day.

I had a water heater go out earlier in the week. Plumbers at some point unplugged the freezer and neglected to plug it back in, discovered it today by the smell( seafood). Got that fixed up and have a lot of spoiled food to go to the dump tomorrow. And to top it off the old lady took one of the quads out for a ride. About an hour later I could hear her whistling. Of course something broke on the four wheeler. I towed it in and have not even thought about looking at it yet.

The upside is that we had to grill out a mountain of ribs and chicken today since it was conveniently thawed out for us.

At any rate is was a heck of a feast.

I am off to drink more beer.

my kids bought me a weed eater. I showed them. I bought myself an M4 from Hero Gear! Do you think I'm going to let them shoot it? Maybe... but only after they've finished the yard...:p:p

My wife (DA BOSS) and sons took me to Stones River and we all shot some.

Lotsa bangs and mostly hit the targets.......

Had ice scream treat afterwards at Sonic.

Was a very good day with the family.

Breakfast with my son, my father, and my grandfather. Four generations of men perpetually ingrained with the innate and insatiable need to shoot stuff.

Off to church to spend time with The Father of all.

Then off to see my father-in-law.

All day long with my son, my baby girl, and my wife.

I went and laid by the pool and drank beer with my Dad and his side of the family (the party people ) and cooked out. Good relaxing day! Happy father's Day to all you guys!

I spent Father's Day in the hot sun, getting sweaty and nasty, running and gunning, sending about 800 rounds downrange in a defensive handgun class. Best Father's Day evAr.

Got woken up by my 9, 6, 4 year old, with breakfast in bed for me, my wife, and my mom who was down visiting. Toast, a muffin, a cinamon roll, and coffee. Completely unexpected, completely their idea. Best Father's Day ever. My 9 year old even gave up her cinamon roll so that we would all have one. I put out mulch, planted some squash and cucumbers, put down some more grass seed, went to church, went to Mcallisters for a late lunch.

All in all a great day, if not the best, one of the best Father's Days ever, it was also mine and my wifes 12 year anniversary, and my mothers birthday.

We went out to dinner in downtown Memphis, Texas De Brazil....I'm still full! Went to Beale Street, walked down it, walked back up it, got in the car and left!

I got to sleep in ALL WEEKEND. The kids and wife and I had donuts for breakfast. I got a new digital camera and was able to take a class at Viking Cooking School on Saturday as an early present. I love to cook. The kids were pretty good and the wife wouldn't let me do any yard work all weekend. I have to mow tonight.
