Some can be swayed in their opinion; others can't...the real difficulty is being able to tell which is which so you don't waste time and effort with the one's who will never change their opinions.

 

Most of the arguments against firearms, at lest carrying firearms, are all emotion based and it's just damn difficult to make headway against that.

So true.  Just like election time, we can only hope the "independents" are swayed to our side.  Something I have little hope in...

I'm going through a bought of this right now on FB. I'll not make that mistake again. I'm only discussing firearms with gun-control nuts, in person from now on.

I think it's safe to opine that few if any federal firearm law changes will be determined by logic.

That's not necessarily true. If it were, why disseminate information anywhere? Sure, there are select numbers

who will not pay attention to news bits, but broad stroking society is a bit pompous. People change their mind

when they choose to and when they are shown to understand which information is correct and it's in their face

enough.

 

There are certainly times when I've changed my mind on issues. I guess I should hate to admit it. I don't.
