To see all the well wishes and congratulations posted here is almost enough to make me teary eyed, and I'm not really the crying type. I feel like I have one big family here, and from the bottom ofmy heart, I want to say thank you to everyone here, for all the thoughts, prayers and well wishes.
Now the question is will the wife or girlfriend let you have it back? lol  Good luck on the job.
She doesn't like it, but she tolerates it. I take about 50% of the blame for convincing him to shave it. In my experience, most people doing the interviews aren't partial to facial hair. Bionic Post

I would agree with that statement.   I think shaving it was the right move even if the interviewer did have a beard.   You were the one trying to get the job and sometimes you've got to do everything you can to make it go in your favor.

As Steelharp said, you lost about 10 years which as we all get older isn't a bad thing.  I used to have a goatee for many many years and my wife wasn't happy that is was starting to get some gray and so I shaved it off for her about 6 years ago.   I never grew it back (so far) and glad now it's gone.  I have told my wife if I ever start going bald that I'm going to shave my head and grow it back.   :)

Congrats and good luck.

RGIS as in the inventory company?  I worked with them several times in my retail days.  Very hard working people.  They were usually fun to be around too.  I think you will have fun with it if you let yourself.

Congratualations dude!. I have been there in the past and know how stressfull the lack of emopyment can be. You seem to already understand that good things do come from hard work, maybe not easy, but very well deserved.
