If you don't know Oleg Volk you certainly know his photos and pro-RKBA posters. Many of you also are on The High Road, which is his site. Or Armed Polite Society, also his site (I've been kicked off both btw).

Today at 5:30 Oleg is making a personal appearance to shoot pics for the store at Eastside Gun Shop. Anyone interested is welcome to come. Anyone not interested is welcome to soak their heads.

As an admirer of his photos and an almost daily reader of his blog, I'm going to try to be there.

It all depends on when those pesky grown up kids of mine leave my house ;-)

I just said good bye to my daughter, who will be in Baltimore for 7 weeks. I already miss her.

There's days when I wish they would invent a pill to keep em little forever, then theres the other days when I wish they had a pill that would make them 18-21, give em a job and a place to live on their own. I could force feed them either depending on the day!

So what's having a daughter like anyway Bill? I wouldn't know. Three boys! (the one in blue is my nephew, yeah, all he had was boys as well)

Oh well. I couldn't make it out to the Rabbi's toy store to meet Oleg after all. Dang it! Three of my boys dropped by and grilled me some burgers, brats and chops on the grill. Even brought the beer! Got a call from my other son who's at Ft. Bragg and also from my daughter wishing me a heppy Father's Day. Then it was shooting pellet guns in the back yard with my boys and a five year old grandson.

Well, you know what? Maybe it was a good day after all ;-)
