Beat me to it,Tokarev. I can't remember the name of the movie, but Ava Mendes (sp?) screws a silencer on a S&W snub a couple different times. Stoopid.

That was, "Once Upon a Time in Mexico"... Antonio Banderas, Eva Mendes, Johnny Depp...

Good movie, poor technical realism (but I don't think it was supposed to)

The Basement scene in "PulpFiction" when the shotgun is fired and the sound of a rifle cartridge hits the floor......I love it.

And I have to agree about the shoot out in "Open Range" great scene, other than the 30+ shot revolvers they used.

One thing you can say about that movie though...

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is when Kevin Costner just blasts that one guy, that is the most awesome thing I have ever seen.

How is that a spoiler? Kevin Costner blasts a lot of guys! Hell, I'm not even sure which one you're talking about, and I've seen the movie several times.

Or the dude holding the lady while the crowd watches. He just walks up to that guy, gets the right angle, don't say nothin', and raises that gun and POW!, POW!, blood all over the wall........lady saved.

I have seen several screw-ups in movies, but can't recall any at the moment. Seem like there is one in Terminator 2 with the little shotgun Arnold shoots off the motorcycle.....Good topic. My wife rolls here eyes when I point something like that out in a movie.

Haha, the blonde Calleigh Duquesne on CSI: Miami shot someone with her stainless Kimber, the Kimber logo was identifiable but was blurred somewhat, so it was not exact, but you could tell nonetheless, I paused it, looked at it closely, and my wife was just shaking her head:rolleyes:.:koolaid: She called me "weird" the other night, she saw a car just like one of her old cars that she had, and I pointed out that it was "almost" like it due to that one having aluminum wheels and hers had plastic hubcaps on steel wheels.

i went back and checked but it is there in the opening scene, its only used for a short amount of time though, and he does pull back the bolt handle like you would a bolt action. but the first sniper rifle he used looks like a remington 700 with a camo job on it. the main one he uses though is the cheytac 408.

Yeah... there is a bolt action rifle used in the first scene with a camo print on it. This is what was used for the first part of the scene. I'll take nightrunner's word that it was a remington 700.

Only after the "incident" on the chopper's 2nd pass did Swaggert switch to the 82a1 which was revealed after he picked up a large bag concealing the beast. That is what was used as the primary anti-helicopter weapon.

Four Brothers

Mark Wahlburg holds up what he describes as a triple action 9MM Beretta that fires three rds at a time.

To once and for all end the Shooter thing. I found this when looking it up for another thread tonight! Must be something in the air! HaHa. He uses an 82a1 then switches to a 700. Later his main rifle is the Cheyenne Tac m200 in .408. It was a cool moovie either way.

as far as the OP, anyone seen the Rambo series!................I don't care though, they are still really cool!

I loved all the Rambos. The newest one was awesome. The scene where he mows down like a hundred people with the machine gun is just pure manly-ness right there.

Yeah it was definitely much more realistic than the others. I really liked the first bow scene. Realistic (?) and really cool!

Is that an actual gun? It looked like an airsoft when he was firing it.

If you have DVD's of "Hawaii Five-0", in the beginning montage, you see the cylinder of a .38 revolver spinning. If you pause during this shot, you will see that all the shells have been fired . . .
